WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Clothing for low temperatures, trekking boots, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water.
Transfer from the Uyuni airport or pick up from the hotel in Uyuni.
Visit to the train cemetery 10 minutes from Uyuni, visit to Colchani craft market craft shops of salt, fabrics of wool of llama, alpaca and manual process of salt, piles of salt, eyes of salt water, Dakar Rally Monument, Plaza de Banderas.
Visit to the first salt hotel now a restaurant museum, lunch.
Visit to the Incahuasy island where there will be a walk to the top, from where you can see the salt flat in its entirety so you can also see the giant cacti.
On the plain of the salar you can take perspective photos with sunset at the foot of the thunupa volcano, then we go to the community of Coquesa to spend the night in a basic salt hotel with double beds bathroom shared, option to take room with private bathroom, (for 25 dollars extra per person per night).
Visit to the town of Coquesa and local attractions, ascent by car to the viewpoint of the Thunupa volcano at 4400 masl. ; and observe the salt flat from the viewpoint, observe the Coquesa chullpares, if the passenger wants, you can climb the thunupa volcano, (OPTIONAL) we will descend from the volcano to see the flamingos in the bofedales at the foot of the thunupa volcano, take photos with reflection or mirror effect in the salt flat.
Return over the salt flat to your respective hotel, bus terminal or airport.
